It seems that KaiOS and the new Nokia makes for the perfect phone that is simpler and less distracting but also capable enough to do everything required on a day to day basis. I can still use my Bose earphones to listen to music over Bluetooth with the Nokia, I can still use Google Maps to find my way around London, and most importantly I can do all this without worrying about having to recharge my phone every day.
